Evans Side Chair
Traditional 18th Century Italian silhouettes in mahogany and acid-etched solid brass. Hand-padding brings out the multicolored verdigris patina of the Evans brass finish. Because each table is finished by hand, finish and patina will vary from piece to piece. The relief etching is achieved by carefully placing wax over the décor areas and then applying acid, which evenly burns off the remaining brass, leaving a smooth surface surrounding the relief.
